We administer all immunisations. Most are on hand at the surgery. Others may require that the Doctor give you a prescription first and them come back for the injection. Please ask at reception when making and appointment.
The surgery has a Practice Nurse available to perform immunisations, wound care and general health assessments.
The Practice Nurse is available on Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
We offer a wide range of services for women and we have two female doctors on staff for those patients who require this service.
Not all our doctors perform women related services.
Please let the receptionist know if your consult may be related to this service so that we can give you an appointment with the necessary Doctor to save you and us time and to serve you better.
CLINICAL LABS is located inside the Surgery and available for all blood tests and general pathology requirements including ECG’S. You will need to obtain a referral from a General Practitioner for all tests needed.
The opening hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 3pm and Saturdays 8am – 12pm.
An appointment is not necessary to have general bloods taken, however an appointment is necessary when having a Glucose Tolerance Test and Breath Tests, All Iron Studies must be presented before 10am.
It is recommended pap smears are repeated every two years unless there have been previous abnormalities. The SA Cervix screening program will notify you when your next pap smear is due. If they can not contact you then our surgery will send you a reminder. If you do not wish to take part in our reminder system please let us know.
