Blakeview Medical Centre offers a wide range of services, referrals and a recall system for ongoing care.

We also offer Seniors’ Health Assessments, Specialists, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Asthma Plans, Diabetes checks plus many more.  Please ask your Doctor or Reception  staff for more details on any services that you may require.


The surgery offers patients from non english speaking backgrounds an interpreting service.  This service is available through the Translating and Interpreting Services which is available 24hrs and can be accessed by ringing 131450.  We also offer an Interpreter booking for the deaf through NABS on 1800 246 945.  Please see reception staff for further information.


We take your concerns and problems seriously and would like to hear about them.  Please feel free to talk to your Doctor, Receptionist or Practice Manager regarding any concerns, suggestions or complaints.  If you wish to make a formal complaint you can contact the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency on 1300 419 495 between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.


We have a reminder/recall system available for all patients.  You may wish to have a reminder notice sent to your for Vaccinations, Pap Smears, Blood Tests, Flu Shots etc.  Please let the receptionist know if you want to be included or please discuss this with your Doctor.  We will automatically send some of these out to you each year as a courtesy reminder but again, please check with reception staff to make sure you don’t miss out.  If you do not wish to take part in our reminder system please let us know.


Privacy of patients of Blakeview Medical Centre is our highest priority.  All medical records are held in the strictest of confidence and no information is given out to any one with out a signed patient authority. A medical summary can be sent to a new surgery that you wish to attend after we have received an authority from your new Doctor.  Photocopies of your full case notes can be sent but a fee will apply.  Access to the content of your medical records can be arranged through an appointment with your Doctor but a fee may apply that is non refundable through Medicare.  Further information is detailed in our Privacy Policy.



If you need a referral to see a specialist, an appointment is necessary to discuss it with a Doctor. If a repeat referral is needed, please contact the surgery to make another appointment with the Doctor.



Are kept to a minimum as they extend waiting times for other patients.  Doctor’s will not give consults over the phone for legal reasons, and only upon consent from the doctor will phone calls be put through.  Patients needing results from tests are encouraged to make an appointment.
